Maria Scordialos
Maria invites people to have conversations that matter. Conversations where people can generatively engage with their changing contexts so that theymay see new possibilities and choose appropriate actions that create systemic shifts. Through process design and hosting, Maria, in partnership with clients and colleagues, crafts gatherings, trainings, and longer term journeys of systemic change. Maria’s practice of designing and hosting has emerged from her diverse experience. This includes working as a project manager implementing national level pilot projects and working at a strategic management level as a Corporate Director in Local Government in the UK, co-initiating a participatory leadership practice called the Art of Participatory Leadership, hosting both grass-roots and systemic level projects in different organizations and communities throughout the world Maria has an enterprising spirit with a social consciousness that has moved her to co-found initiatives that are researching by prototyping new forms of living and working. These include the Living Wholeness Institute, the Systemic Innovation Zone (SIZ) in Greece, and Axalditsa Avatakia a systemic learning centre in Pelion, Greece.

Odysseas Velentzas
Odysseas does transformative work on the edge of the systemic change. He is working with social enterprises and social movements by offering participatory methodologies to support meaningful conversations and strategic planning. Specifically his work includes incubating new ideas based on social challenges so they become realities, supporting emerging leaders and innovators and creating spaces of learning through Art of Hosting Trainings, Participatory Workshops, Learning Journeys and Café Conversations etc. He is co-founder of the Systemic Innovation Zone, an expression of a small group of Greeks and Internationals who believe that participating in leading our own lives by digging to our roots, discovering our hidden treasures and finding our own new ways is the way systemic change occurs (www.the-siz.org). He is also a co-founder of Process Makers, a pioneer consulting company in Greece in the field of Participatory Leadership, Graphic Facilitation and systemic transformation.

Mohamed El Mongy
Mohamed is one of Misriyati’s co-founders. He is interested in environmental sustainability at large and is passionate about pan-Africanity (Humanly inclusive African identity). After spending two years in AIESEC International as Director for Africa, he finished his Masters in Environment and Development in Edinburgh University and worked on a number of sustainable development issues and projects in different African countries; Egypt, Senegal, Ghana, Kenya and Morocco. Mongy is currently working on establishing a Nile Forum a platform for civil society across the Nile basin. Mongy is a certified mediator and part of the Steering Committee of Misriyati working on conflict transformation projects on the grass root and community level as well as on the corporate level.

Anton Valkov
Anton is an Art of Hosting practitioner and local coordinator of the Art of Hosting network in Bulgaria. He works as a host, trainer and facilitator at Communication Academy, and is owner of Open Space - an organisation focused on transforming his local community. He hosts strategic conversations and provides trainings around participatory methods for business, education and nonprofit sectors.
Anton is an Art of Hosting practitioner and local coordinator of the Art of Hosting network in Bulgaria. Ranwa Abdel Nabi
Ranwa is passionate about creating and living learning experiences, and strives through her work to create the kind of change she would like to see in her society, to make it a more just, balanced place to live in. After participating in Misriyati TOT, Ranwa joined the team in 2011 in the capacity of Training Officer. Today, she is also working as a life coach. She is keen on conversations that emphasize the values of accepting differences and diversity as a basis for a real democracy. Ranwa would like to see the Egyptians talk about the values and principles they would like to establish in the new Egypt. Ranwa is a certified mediator and life coach.

Anna is a multidisciplinary professional blending social innovation, Art of Hosting, lean and design thinking. She has led and supported local and international social ventures in delivering their mission. She has worked with leaders of social innovation and social enterprise support programs and has helped them build better incubator and accelerator programs. Some of them are Impact Hub Westminster’s accelerator program- Solve and the fist incubator for social enterprises in the Middle East – Nahdet el Mahrousa. She is passionate about co-creating impact through designing and leading agile collaborative and participatory processes, workshops and events for organisations, social enterprises and communities.
